BELDEN® T1/DS1 OFFICE INTERCONNECT/CROSS CONNECT CABLE
7838A - 22 AWG solid tinned copper conductors, twisted pairs, Datalene® insulation, individually shielded with 100% Beldfoil® shield, 24 AWG solid tinned copper drain wire each pair, PVC jacket.
NOTE: Single conductors are dual insulated. The outer layer of insulation must be stripped off before attaching modular connectors. Use a stripping tool such as Cooper Tools Xcelite model 103-S, or equivalent with a mechanical stop to avoid nicking the inner insulation.
* Incorporates a PLASTIC wire management system to provide PRECISE CONDUCTOR ALIGNMENT.
* Utilizes a 4 over 4 contact design (4 LONG and 4 SHORT) that provides increased isolation and spatial dispersion within the plug to minimize crosstalk and accepts .037" - 042" CONDUCTOR OD.
* The conductors are isolated by the Conductor Load Bar and through Plastic Isolation/Insulation Barriers where contact termination is made, thereby improving electrical performance.
* Plug accepts both SOLID or STRANDED conductors
